Don't Want To Get Up

Waking up early, I was greeted with the sound of water
rushing through the the rooftops. It's raining!
I recalled that a storm will be in the neighborhood today
from last night's news. The window curtain is blown by
the strong wind brought by the storm. During these times,
it's best to stay at home, rest, relax, and get some more sleep.

Unfortunately, I had to force myself to get up. You have work to do,
I said to myself. Feeling my body heavy for my feet to carry, I struggled
to stand up. Hoping that a warm bath will get me started,
I immediately turned on the shower and let the water rush through my body.
It was a wonderful, relaxing moment. I brushed my teeth, and hurried up
to get dress.

Looking outside, the rain seem to pour harder.
I felt my energy level subsiding again. Seeing my bed, a force of some kind appears
to pull me back. A 5-minute sleep is still okay, looking at my watch. I hurried back
to my bed with my soft pillow and warm blanket, not wasting a single second.
Got a quick nap, five minutes is over. It's exactly the same feeling again when I
woke up earlier. Forcing myself, I managed to put on my shoes, went out the door
and head to work.

With a 10 minute ride to the office, I took the opportunity to sneak up another quick nap.
Really feeling lazy. At work, I felt unproductive, but had to convince myself to stay awake and focus, yet, my body does not want to follow. From time to time, I get lost with my eyes shutting.
It's a challenging day, not because of pressure, but because of the lazy feeling
brought to me by the weather.

A lot of things really affects our emotions. Rain just brings a feeling of laziness and bed sickness.
What does the rain brings you? How does weather affects you?

Yup..rain does invite romance n cuddling up though may depend on some factors accompanying it. Thanks for sharing. I'd be sure to remember when it rains (steady rain) n while i feel mostly lazy n sleepy.. someone is feeling romance as each drop showers n livens the Earth. Want some Hot coffee ?
